After four decades of glass making my process is very involved with cane making and many other advanced hot glass techniques. Glass blowing is a term that really doesn’t do justice to the process which is a complex activity where the artist has to engage mind and body with a molten medium. Years of dedication and practice are needed to achieve anything decent in this process.
I like making ideas into real things.
Cane making is an ancient art that keeps my interest in glass .
Glass blowing is a misnomer it should be glass forming there is not much actual blowing.
Coloured glass is my palette .
Clear glass is my main medium.
I enjoy other art forms and artists.
